Patricia Coelho Red is a creative who uses Artificial Intelligence and traditional tools to craft lifestyle, design, architecture, interiors, fashion, and novelty ideas for commercial and editorial clients, with a nostalgic yet contemporary aesthetic and the eyes in the future.
Where Heritage Meets Horizon.
I’m Patricia Coelho Vermelho, once known as Je Suis un Lapin, simply Red—my Portuguese surname, Vermelho, means the color red in English. As a Brazilian (Carioca) and Portuguese citizen, I currently call a serene coastal town home, where I live on a sprawling farmhouse. My journey has taken me to countless places, from vibrant cities to quiet corners, both with family and solo.
For the past five years, I’ve embraced the joys of rural life, caring for a menagerie of animals, managing a large farmhouse, and running a small family business. Alongside that I’ve immersed myself in the world of generative models, experimenting with AI tools and sharing my discoveries and experiences with followers across various platforms.
My education spans Business Administration, Arts & Letters, Design, Fashion Design, and Photography. Raised by a telecommunications engineer, I grew up surrounded by cutting-edge technology, which feels like second nature to me. I’m passionate about learning languages and crafting prompts from scratch, perfecting them without AI assistance. My generative projects are polished using a variety of manual techniques and software, blending creativity with precision.
Before diving into AI, I had the privilege of designing sets for iconic brands like Burberry, Gucci, and Rebecca Minkoff (in collaboration with Polyvore, now SSENSE) and creating home accents, furniture, apparel, and jewelry alongside talented artists like Christina Oiticica. I am a proud former member of fPOE (Female Photographers of Etsy) and won over 200 art and design contests. My original (non-AI) work has even been used to train generative image models—a testament to its impact.
My creative spark ignited early, influenced by my grandmother, a renowned artist, I began drawing and painting before I could write. Poetry and short stories soon followed, as did stints as a ballerina, volleyball player, band vocalist, and preschool teacher, among other adventures.
